I reinstalled DirectX and it had no effect. It also worked for me the first time. Something changed, either in Steam, Windows, my ATI drivers, or in AAMFP that caused it to stop working. "XINPUT1_3.dll" refers to the windows controller compatibility program. I think the game may have gotten an update that was to refine the controller setup but has now caused the game to be temporarily broken.
EDIT: Actually, I don't remember why I thought XINPUT1_3.dll had to do with the controller compatibility; I know it has to do with DirectX, but reinstalling DirectX didn't do anything, so I'm lost.
I dont know if it will help, but sometimes when i launch AAMFP it only gives me the publicity screen of steam for others games , like when you end a game normaly ( sorry for my bad English there)
Thanks, but those are just the steam store advertisements that appear every time you exit a game, I think. The game does kind of "open" for half a second, but then of course immediately closes.
Seems like more of a problem that has to do with the game. I mean, I have the new DirectX, and it worked even before I had it, so obviously the game got an update within the first 24 hours of its release that caused this seemingly unfixable problem (I have seen no workable solutions so far).
EDIT:

Its not there. The close as it gets it XInput9_1_0.dll
Ah, perhaps this is what I should look to. I'll check and see if the file is there for me.
EDIT: It was the same thing for me as well. No XINPUT1_3.dll. Well, seems like we just need the file now. I just don't know where to get it.
Actually, upon doing further research, downloading the .dll individually isn't such a good idea, putting aside the fact that it might be virused.
I guess I should try to install DirectX again... (I firstly downloaded through a Windows update).
