It is most likely either that you are lacking correct (or updated) drivers or that you have an old card that cannot handle it.

I had already read that thread as well as many other ones in the Technical Support forum.

As I said in my initial post, I have the latest nVidia drivers(256.53 on my Linux distros and 258.96 on Windows). My card has the second newest GPU of any nVidia card which can not be considered old by any (reasonable) gaming standards. All of that makes me pretty sure you didn't read my post other than the title. The first paragraph is a little unnecessary, but the rest has some pretty informative details.

I appreciate the reply, though. You're probably pretty busy here.
