They are names for Graphics Cards made by two different companies. AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) and nVidia are common GPUs, as well as Intel Cards.

While I am unsure if your the same person as the OP, by following Step 3 (using dxdiag's to view your Graphical settings), you can determine which card you have, therefore which of the drivers you require to update.
