Game froze during loading of savepoint

Sure, I have attached the save file in the first post. I think I can reproduce the problem or a part of it. I just deleted all saves except this problematic one (to make sure it does not load the latest checkpoint.sav after death), loaded it, let me kill by the monster twice and now the game showed "Error loading savegame: corrupt file. Save deleted" or similar. Interestingly, the save wasn't deleted though.

EDIT: That error message seems to be unrelated to the freeze I think and appears because I deleted the checkpoint.sav. From hpl.log:
