It's a good game but it's one of those you wouldn't play again because of the game length and pace speed.

Well, each to his own, but I've played both Syberia I and Syberia II four times since they were released, all playthroughs were on the PC. Smile

I think it's nonsense that Sokal thinks the game would be a "commercial failure" if released in 2D. There are a lot of 2D games these days, many of them indie titles but what does that matter? A great game is a great game.

I also have a hunch that due to going the 3D route Syberia III is going to be more action oriented and that would be a hell of a shame if so. I loved the first two simply because of the feeling of loneliness that was ever present. They were, on the whole, very peaceful and relaxing games.
