Amnesia: The Dark Descent Level Editor Help!

Try to run the level editor as administrator.

This is correct. Sometimes, a user doesn't have the necessary permissions to save with the Level Editor.

You may be able to recover your maps from the following directory.

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore

This is also an issue with Custom Story development, not the actual Amnesia game. As such, moving to Development Support.
