The demo (or the full game) wont start, i just get an error message? Intel Chipsets

I have a similar problem on my MacBook Pro. I have the most recent one, hardware requirements should be met without any trouble. When I run the demo it shows me the config window and then it crashes saying "Fatal Error: Unable to initialize display".
I would really love to buy the game but I need to be sure I can play it after I have paid for it :-).
