Also, what application are you using to download the file with? It really makes no difference if you save it directly to disk or "open it" with a program. The difference there is the later downloads and THEN opens.

The correct MD5 of the whole file is this
md5sum amnesia_tdd_1.0_linux_1.sh
1371d13237143b845e42968cee46002a  amnesia_tdd_1.0_linux_1.sh

How much frees space do you have in your /tmp directory? You need at least 2.2 GB free in that directory. or the installer won't startup correctly.
