Try running Amnesia.exe as administartor and see if that helps.

If not, the only reason I can think for such a crash is a driver issue.

I am aware that you have already tested. But make sure to download the latest drivers for the ATI website (omega should not be required on such a new card) and then make sure to uinstall current and reboot before installing the new. You might also want to use driver cleaner or similar before installing.
