Game crashes on launch no matter what I do

I seem to be having a problem which other users have been able to fix without much difficulty, whenever I launch the game, it loads for a second or two, then crashes to a black screen, no matter the graphics setting I choose, low, medium, high (what Amnesia sets it to), the resolution, windowed or not, all the advanced settings, it just won't run. I have already upgraded to the latest graphics drivers from ATI, (I have a Mobility Radeon HD 5730, which should be more than enough to handle this) and still no luck, any suggestions?
