framerate stutter

Hi there,

I'm getting a constant framerate stutter while playing Amnesia, i.e. the framerate drops by about 20 fps every few seconds. Furthermore the overall framerate seems to gradually decrease while playing. It looks like it could be a memory leak, however i've tried reinstalling the game and checking the cache (it's a steam version) to no avail.

My specs are as follows.

AMD Athlon X4 620 2.60 Ghz
4.00 GB RAN
Nvidia GTX 260
Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
