Cannot load the game

Hello there, thought i rather post here instead of opening up a new thread.

Anyways, i was waiting for this game eager after playing the sweet demo. But then my hopes of playing the full version of this game crushed upon me

I somewhat get the feeling it has something to do with openal. I once had serious problems with this, sorry, crap software. Anyhow, i installed the latest version of it several times, after, of course a clean deinstall and a reboot. Also i updatet my ATI drivers, changed from catalyst to omega, didnt do anything. Still same problem. I could play the tech and the overture demo just fine at an awesome framerate, so it cant be my hardware. Here are the specs anyway:

AMD Athlon 2.2+
ATI Radeon x850 pro 256mb 500/500mhz
785mb of Ram.

I hope anyone can help me, i did not find any answers to this problems on the forums or the help sections from frictional games.
