There are so many games on Steam and XBLA that will never see retail, and I'd rather support developers than publishers. It just boils down to personal choice, where there is no right answer.

Sadly, Frictional is a small team and supporting 3 OSes, about 4 different release avenues, and at least 5 language means there are 12 released games each with localizations to test and verify, all for a team of a half dozen working with 3 publishers to release a patch while also working on their new game.

Exactly. That explains it all and makes me wonder how can a solittle dev team make such things.
