Start-up problem

I'm having this same exact problem myself, thus why I joined this forum today. I didn't buy my version, I downloaded it directly from the site.

I'm using Windows Vista, and I thought maybe that was the problem. I know my computer's good for running the game hardware-wise because I run graphically intense games on it all the time.

What happens with me is I double-click the icon (ANY Prenumbra program icon, whether on the desktop, in the program menu of my start menu or in the Prenumbra directory itself), my screen goes black for the merest second, then it comes back to my desktop but everything is greatly magnified in size for a second, then it goes back to normal with no error message or anything. My next post will be the contents of my hpl.log. It's a bit long, so forgive me...
