How to make a custom gobo for lights

Hello everyone! I'm The Chaser, and I will show you how to make custom gobos.
It has happened to me sometimes that I don't find the gobo that I search for my light and that therefore I must think in something more complicated to solve that problem.

Definition of gobo: Texture that is cast from a light.

So, it's really easy to make one of these. In fact, I would consider it one of the easier custom things to do.

Tools that you need:

Image manipulation program (Gimp, Photoshop)
DDS exporter (in case you don't have it)

Let's begin!

Get a texture, if possible from a window. I'll use this one:

Dessaturate it, reduce the color amount or anything, the image must only have TWO COLORS: Black and white. Like this:

Export it as a .dds with no mipmaps somewhere in your Amnesia (I prefer graphics/mystory)

Now, go to the level editor: Select the light you want to apply the gobo to. In the gobo section, browse and click yours.
Cool! Now your gobo will be applies succesgully to the light. Have a good time making gobos!
