In CorinthianMerchant's defense, though I still don't really agree with him, I'm thinking that he was referring to junior members as members without a lot of experience rather than their post count.

If he was referring to an inexperienced member, he would have chosen a different wording; "junior" isn't very common in the English language nowadays (except for in a few very specific scenarios). CM has also made similar comments in the past regarding junior members.
