I've got one last bit of life in me as well, though I admit I will not be doing anything entirely new, I intend to prove that, given enough effort, an excellent experience can once again be had with Amnesia.

I know a few of you have been apart of this community for a lot longer than I have, but I find it hard to buy into something when absolutely no information is given. I've played plenty of bad custom stories that some people (even the more respected LPer's on this forum/youtube) have regarded as good, or even great. To be honest, I'm quite hard to impress, I can count on one hand how many custom stories that have been done on the same level as the original game (which is what everyone should be striving to accomplish, right?). When I compare most these custom stories to the original Amnesia game, I cry a little bit. But, I'll give your super big secret - that apparently half the forums knows about yet I have no clue - a chance.

Pretty much exactly why I "retired" after I released Deterioration... I couldn't really see much else worth exploring with the engine.
