[Tutorial] How to make a custom decal!

I figured that was the problem but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the help, I'll try that out.

The image is showing up in the material editor now, but it's not coming up in the LEVEL EDITOR. I put the decal in the directory, but it's still not coming up. Do I need a .dds version too? And if so, how do I do so?

Nevermind! I got it! If its not showing up in your level editor, just pick on the "decals" button and pick the "+" button next to the box labelled "Material" and the material editor will pop up there. just make the decals then and add them to the directory. It showed up in my level editor now =D

What filetype is it? I know it works for .png and .dds, but I don't know how well it works for other file types.

I can see my decal in the editor, but it won't show up ingame. I've tried to remove the cache files, but it still won't show up. Does anyone have a solution to the problem?
Also, if I place it in the editor, save, quit and enter it again it won't show up in the editor either, but I can click the place where I placed it and delete it. If I go try to select a new decal, the editor will crash, and to solve that I have to delete the new decals I've used permamently.

Where do you place your decals? The editor won't load files located in your custom_stories/"Your story".
