Acies, he's not doing it wrong, the level editor is literally not showing any materials for him.

nightsxp, are you able to see the files when you access the folder through Windows Explorer?

Yeah, through the Windows file manager, not the editor.

Now, in the editor, is this the case for primitive objects and billboards as well, not being able to see materials?

I'm not really sure what to tell you. Can you post the contents of the LevelEditor.log file? Should be located in My Documents/HPL2/

Are you able to open the .mat files in the Material Editor?

Yes i can open .mat in Matireal Editor

Let's try something: Open the level editor (if not already open) and pick Decals on the left and click on the "..." on the right. In the file browser of the level editor, double-click the ".." until you're in the Program Files folder. Then go back into the Amnesia folder under Program Files and navigate to where the decals are (should be redist/textures/decals in the folder Amnesia is installed in). Does it show the materials now?

Ops, my bad. I somehow had gotten the idea that there was only one way to "show" decals.

Do you have a "resources.cfg" in your /redist folder nightsxp?
