I remember reading something about this recently. One hypothesis is that a human being's reaction to the sound is an evolutionary leftover. Apparently, tigers purr or growl (very) lowly when they're about to pounce, and this is supposed to be a sort of "sixth sense" that helped keep our ancestors alive in such situations.

I watched through the whole channel last night and it literally gave me nightmares, I woke up really really early this morning cold sweating, it was freaking horrible. I kinda regret watching it

I kinda regret watching it lol it wasn't supposed to be THAT scary but do you see what i mean about how they use all the trippy sound effects? and since we're on the topic, i thought i might add i'm making a halloween costume of a certain masked fellow planning on playing an awesome prank on my friend (he fear quit about 2/3 of the way through the series)

You're going to be very hard pressed with find any speaker systems, especially in PC environments, capable of playing back infrasound. More like you'll need a transducer for that.
