				Good evening everyone !
Well, I feel like it's time to get some feedback on what I am doing. I am still a newbie but I feel like I can handle the Editor a little better now !
I'm working on a level in a library, and this is an archive room. I wanted to know what I could improve.

So here's the screenie, hope the size is good. If it's not, i'll just post the link so you can check out the full-sized pic.

I'm waiting for your criticism !

Those are some Disney-esque colors you've got there... Awesome atmosphere!

Not enough light.

The window in the back would be emitting more light.
Also the hole in the ceiling isn't giving enough, or else the billboards are too bright. Two options
Trying is the first step to success. | |

				There we go !
Added some big pointlights around the window and the hole in the ceiling, along with a few more lights at areas which looked unrealistic because not bright enough.

Ok, so I totally made this a looooong time ago, but I never posted it here. So, here goes nothing!
If you drag them to a new tab, you can see the original size.

Lights and billboards: The best I've seen in ages.

However, I don't see any particle systems or dirt decals. Considering the house is abandoned (I'd say it for the fallen chair and the picture) it would win a lot if it had these AND a some spider webs around.

Besides this, the quality is outstanding and remarkable

My only complaint is the lack of floor details, other than that it's damn near perfect.

Cute. What rgba values are you using on those spotlights on the windows?

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, I made this corridor as a lighting experiment initially. Mapping is pretty intimidating to me due to the sheer amount of assets - it takes forever just to sift through them to find what you like, and then to figure out how to put it all together. So I've been procrastinating in that department a little bit.
I'm a lot better at detailing though, so I'll see what I can do with this map to make it more interesting. (11-16-2013, 08:16 PM)Amn Wrote: Cute. What rgba values are you using on those spotlights on the windows?
It's a soft golden color: 1/0.78/0.55/1
