Purchased over steam but would like to play on linux natively

I already have amnesia for OSX/Windows via steam but since valve is slacking in their building of a linux version of their software distribution service I can't play on my linux laptop. Is there a way I could download the native linux client instead of playing through wine or repurchasing Amnesia, I rather purchase for someone else than buy a second copy to play on linux.

Steam only supports Windows and Mac, so sorry, you either need to run the game through Wine or purchase from Frictional Store or Desura.
