Chaku01:
F8 or F10 saves a screen to the redist folder, I think.
Have you tried Omega drivers?

RE: Weird bloom problem
Yesterday night I installed the latest update and started testing. The F8 key does indeed take a screen shot, it appears in the main folder where the game is installed, though when I checked them they were all just black, no image, not anything visible...
I will try the "Omega Drivers 3.8.360" tonight and see what happens. I have also noticed the new .exe file for the "doggie/framelag" test, this I will also do and post all the results and screen shots tomorrow with regard to the bloom, weird bright textures w/o lighting, "doggie/general" stutter problem (found a new area where performance drops to less than 1f/s for no apparent reason)
To be continued!

RE: Weird bloom problem
This problem happens to me if run widescreen resolutions like 1280x800 or 1680x1050. It goes away if I change the resolution to a 4:3 resolution or something common like 1280x1024. I haven't tried messing with bloom to see if widescreen works without it. I'm on the 162.18 drivers, which is the latest from Nvidia currently.

Hmm... I am pretty sure I have tested this with wide screen. I will check again...

RE: Weird bloom problem
After installing the latest Omega Driver 3.8.360 (Based on Catalyst 7.4) the weird bloom problem disappeared. The lighting problems and the unstable behavior of my computer while switching shader also disappeared, though on the lowest level there were some new "parasites" (screenshots) visible at a distance, constantly changing while I was moving. All the other shader settings work perfectly now, thanks for the Omega Drivers tip Thomas.
BTW, I play in 1280*800 = 16/10 Widescreen

RE: Weird bloom problem
I tried turning bloom off and using a wide screen resolution again. I didn't experiment for too long but it only helped a little. The problem is still there. This time I noticed I get a bar covering the top of my screen like watching a letterbox movie, but it's transparent. It seems to be most noticeable in light areas and it tends to fade away in darker areas. And it's not just because the scene is getting darker. The transparent image like in the original post still happens rarely without bloom, for me, but I still can't figure out what causes it now and then. It seems very random. Turning off bloom seems to make it not happen after just look at a light source. I also noticed my depth of view effect is completely distorted or checkered while in wide screen. I checked to make sure it wasn't FSAA/AF settings effecting this, and they're not. As of this point in time 1024x768, 1280x960, and 1280x960 are my completely fine resolutions. 1280x720 and 1280x800 seems to be the resolutions I can't run.
No big deal though. I can deal with my screen looking slightly distorted.

Chaku01:
Glad Omega Drivers worked, and if there is only a problem on lowest I would not worry too much since the mode is barely playable I will check it out though and see if I can reproduce, all bugs must go away!
