Level Editor Help Help with Laptop

So I use a toshiba laptop all the time. Here's the thing. In the editor, i found out that to change the center point of view, you need to use the middle mouse button. Hmmm... let me look at my mouse. It's a touch pad with two buttons, left and right. I've looked around the internet for a while and saw that if you press both buttons, it counts as a middle button. But that didn't work. I even found out you can get mouse emulators for laptops. I press the middle mouse button on that and it STILL doesnt work. Are there any buttons I can press or other ways for me to change the center point. If you help me, I might even let you have a sneak peek at my map "Haunted Mansion". Sounds a little cliche, but trust me, I plan to do things different in my map. So help a bro out plz! + I don't have the money for a usb mouse yet, so anything but that.

Hold on. I do hav a mouse emulator that has a middle mouse button. But when I use the alt middle button, nothing happens. Let me check a tutorial real quick.

Can't you just plug in a normal mouse and use that? Tongue

Nope. The laptop can only use a usb mouse! There's no port for it! I just tried the mouse emulator and it STILL doesn't work... at all. Not even the other buttons. Is there like a button shortcut or anything else?

FINALLY! Found this neat program that can turn any button I want into a Middle Mouse Button. YES. Well, you guy's will get an exclusive... invitation to my map (even though your suggestions didn't work, I appreciate the help!) I should get a lot done considering this is a friday night and all Cool

Did you use KeyTweak? That's what I used to use for that sort of thing Tongue

Actually mine is called autohotkey. It works great! God I've had this map on standby since like December!

Oh and Datguy5, that would be great! I just need to learn how to make jump scares and stuff. I'm planning on making mine different from all the others. You know since they are like all the same these days (Oh god I wasn't expecting a monster to come out of the cabinet Dodgy

) I got to think of something unique. hmm...

But seriously though,its really hard to invent new scares in amnesia these days.

God this map creating is harder than I thought. How would I set up the extra_xx.lang file? The tutorial isn't up on the wiki and I need it to continue!
