GameZone: Who is Oswald Mandus, exactly?

DanPinchbeck: He's a wealthy industrialist who made his fortune in the livestock industry but suffered a horrendous family tragedy and has been struck down with a terrible disease while exploring the ruins of the Aztecs and Maya in Mesoamerica. He wakes up from disturbing dreams at the start of the game and begins to try and piece his life back together, to understand what has happened to him.


Well now I know where he was exploring in mexico I find what the Aztecs did to people is scary because they did rituals that were the aztec priests pulled the mans heart out like in the movie apocalypto

Hmm... I recall somebody pointing out in the concept art what appeared to be an aztec sacrificial table (under the pig-cross). I wonder how South American culture is going to fit into the game and story, cuz it looks like it will.

Right. People are focusing waaaaaay too much on the release of this game.

Sure, we are all dying for it to come out, but constantly coming up with theories about when it'll be randomly released right around the corner is illogical and counter-productive. It's kind of like those people trying to predict the end of the world, it's pointless and almost definitely wrong. People should instead just use this thread to talk about the game itself, not when it'll be released. Plus, focusing on the game release is just going to make it feel longer, not help in any way at all. Concentrating on something else will help get our minds off of it.
