Indeed, Frictional knows what they're doing, however I highly doubt the majority of the game would be played out in outdoor areas, but sense they seem to working hard on getting them to look great I'll take that as a hint to more outdoor areas than we've seen before.

Outdoor areas with daylight ans sunshine?
I can't present how to make horror there. Or is it true it won't be a horror game anymore?
But when it won't be horror, then it's not Amnesia.

Still waiting for first gameplay scenes.

Maybe it will be something like Silent hill, Imagine bright sunny day, with bright red blood leading down a cellar behind a house... into darkness, now that can be scary

Who ever said it needs to be set during daytime at all? Are you claiming it's impossible to make creepy outdoor areas...?

Yes, that's true.

To have a nice outdoor loaction and went into a dark underground building, even set a higher contrast to have more horror.
The problem in Amnesia was, you really gets conditioned by the horror.
The tease image now seems to be a forest, I see two big trees with a light behind it.

Yes, it's now looking less like a face and more like a corridor with torches.

If Fate frowns, we all perish.

Nice picture, But i dont think it it is that. The "Corridor" is too geometrical to be organic. But a person holding a light might just be it!

EDIT: Looking at the satelite image, theres LOTS of ruins on that island.

I must say, maybe the clues lie on what we find? Asia, Ruins, i donnu... Were so wrong in so many levels i dont get it!
