Pick up one of the bigger rocks and let the dog see you as your facing it. When the dog charges you, wait till he's about to you and click right mouse. Make sure you hit him right in the nose and he will run away giving you time to pick up the rock again and do the same thing when he charges again. Do this one more time and that thing is dead.
