Black Plague GameCrash

Hello,
first I had the problem that when I started the game it instantly crashed back to desktop with the error code:

penumbra.exe caused an exception_access_violation in module penumbra.exe at 0023:004EB5B2

After I solved it by copying the setting.cfg from my Overtune directory to the Black Plague directory (where at this time no settings.cfg was in), I started the game again and played the tutorial, but when I tried to play a "normal game" it crashed after the intro with the error code:

penumbra.exe caused an exception_access_violation in module penumbra.exe at 0023:004D4EE4

Hope someone of you can help me with this problem, I will try some things maybe I can solve it myself. When I find a solution I paste it here.

My PC:

ASUS ENGTX580 DirectCU II
Windows 7 64bit
Crucial m4 SSD 64GB
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB (here is the game is installed)
Onboard Sound

All my other games run perfectly fine.

First off nice setup

Second try the classic uninstall than reinstall and see if that helps.

Thanks for the fast answer, its on steam so I think I have to download it again when I reinstall it. First I will try 1 or 2 other thinks that I have in my mind which maybe solve the problem, if not I will try the reinstall.

Already tried to delete the settings.cfg but at the first start the cfg doesnt even exist in the directory so I copied it from the Overture directory, so my first probleme was solved.
Now I tried to delete the cfg again, but then the game starts and stays at a black screen.
My next step is to copy the cfg again and only delete the content in it.

The game starts normal, but after the intro I got the same problem:

Posted it above you, so the only thing left for me to fix the problem is to reinstall the game.

Ok, I just tested Requiem, looks like it runs without any errors, but I dont want to spoiler story
that game and already bought Amnesia!
