will penumbra:overture work on intel graphics card?

hello,
i just got the game. after installation it tells me that my graphics doesnt support vertex shaders... somthing lik that.

i have an Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV graphice controller

any possibility of this game working on my PC?

which graphics card is better not only for this game but any other game?

plz help me out, thanks in advance

I am afraid it will not work on Intel cards except the latest.

I'm sure there something wrong with the intel drivers...

Do you have the latest drivers installed ?

w.r.t my intel card, it has been updated with the latest drivers but then my laptop has a mobility radeon 9200 which is on the supported cards list but my laptop wont even read my cd....(im not getting the setup started and the cd drive folder displays no contents of the penumbra cd) Sad

( any help with this????

Reboot the computer and try it straight after it loads. Does this help?
