			| Fiddling with grunt sensitivity

I've set a grunt at the very end of the hallway that the player needs to approach. However, right now it's overly sensitive to the player and I'd like to lessen it a bit. It's way down the hallway and as soon as the player enters it and stares at it for more than a couple seconds it turns around and starts pursuing you.
I'd like to make it so the grunt only gives chase if you get too close to it or make too much noise. The player's task in this part of the game is to purposefully draw its attention, so I want to make it slightly more difficult than looking at it from afar.

You could try toggling its triggers on/off based on the player's location
