ATI driver problems: 7.12 and 8.1

Its too bad because this actually looks like a very interesting game. I tried downloading the demo and running it on a linux installation i have and then i got the bug where the game freezes when you press ESC. I am on HD2900XT.

same prob on hd2600 played it till i'm outside now... but snow effects mean i cant get much further as i can't seem much

I tried your file and it solves the problem (whereas the last patch didn't...). I mainly experienced troubles with lightings and weird glitches with my old ATI X800 (driver version: 6.14.10.6783) in the game. But after having replaced my atioglxx file by yours, everything just works fine !!
