Pitch Black!

When I start the game and entering the main menu, the only thing I see is the title on the left and the menu on the right, but the background it's pitch black!

At the beginning I though that this must be how you start the game, so I started the game and it's pitch black to the only thig i could se is the menu, the journal and the inventory but nothing more.

If somebody can help me then comment as quickly as possible, thanks!
