I am waaay to paranoid in this game. I only use a lantern when I believe I am safe to. Like, when I hear noises or am in an open area, unless I've been there a while it's off.

Tinderboxes, I almost never use unless making a sanity "safe haven".

I just fled the Cells so I believe I'm close to the end...right guys? Because I don't know how much longer will I last and when that heart attack's coming and I'm packing 80+ tinderboxes, 10 oil bottles and 6 laudanums. As a consequence though, my own vision now sports insanity effect.

Cells, not Cistern. That was actually very near end, so I'm done already. Phew. And now when I know where and when monsters happen I will do a tranquil, leisurely sightseeing playthrough, since it was kind of hard to take in those lovely environments while crawling though the dark on your fours.

Oh, I thought you meant prison cells. And I'm almost certain cistern is even less than halfway.. o.o does anyone actually know for sure because now I want to know Tongue

If you're referring to the torture cells (as opposed to the prison cells) then if my memory isn't failing me that is near the end ............ ish. Wink

Methinks it's two thirds+ in the game. There's only the Sewers, Agrippa's hub with its three locations and Inner Chamber after it.
