Yeah, it's a classic. Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is also pretty good but
really depressing and I have no interest in seeing it again. I haven't
seen Sympathy for Lady Vengeance but I've heard it's the weakest of the
three (not sure though).

There are tons of great not-hollywood movies out there, if you only know one, you haven't watched enough
And there are also plenty of great Hollywood movies out there. People seem to forget that L.A. is where the modern cinema comes from and that many of the greatest filmmakers worked out of Hollywood. The industry has always been corrupt and nowadays just ridiculous but that's no reason to completely shun the entirety of Hollywood. There are also plenty of pretentious, uninspired and boring indie movies; the only difference is that those movies usually don't have any star power to help them.

True. But people are quick to jump on the "Hate everything related to Hollywood"-bandwagon.

Hey! I don't hate everything Hollywood related! i am just tired of its nowadays bullshit, and that is: unoriginal movies, uninteresting stories, movies only based on explosions, gufires and unnecessary violence just to imitate the modern style of video games (which I hate as well), fucking unnecessary squels to EVERYTHING, and remakes, lots and lots of remakes.

Sorry, my post was not directed at you :3 I know exactly what you mean, but many people act like there's only bad stuff in Hollywood
