Black Plague \ Requiem menu crash

Win 7 x64. i5 2500k. GTX 560 Ti with the latest drviers.

Just bought it on steam. Right after frictional games logo I see 2 white boxes where penumbra and black plague logos should be and get crash.
Yes, I tried redownload it and validate, disable steam overlay, tried custom .exe files from here.

Only BP and Requiem have this problem.
Overture works just fine.

possible that it has an incorrect settings file, see if you can delete in in My Documents/Penumbra Black PLague/ else there are some files missing as the white boxes means it can't find the graphics for it.

Ok. Seems the old configs from non-steam version have left in my documents. After deleting them it works. Thanks.
