HELP I have a glitch :/

So I purchased Amnesia: the dark descent through GameStop downloads..
In the game, I used the elevator and am in the following area where I need a hammer and combine it with whatever to slip through that hole into the cellar.

spent 2 hours looking for the fuggin haammer
and I sware I have a glitch.
I guess there is no option to contact Frictional games.. so awesome.
Finally found a game I like and it has a glitch. Is this why gamestop recently dropped the price to $4.95... wtf Im frustrated

any help appreciated thx

Take a look at that link, it contains the location of the Hammer under the section "Southern Block."

Sorry, I guess I misused the word glitch. Excuse my ignorance >.< heh
well! I looked at the map lolmaster posted. Thanks for the help but the hammer seems to be missing in my game.

If the hammer is missing then something ballsed up during installation of the game, backup your savegame files, turn off anti-virus and any background programs and then re-install the game.
