Solved: 8 Years, 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago Need help plz read

Well,I just finish downloading the game Pernumbra and everytime I launch the game the whole screen turns black and takes me back to the desktop.Can someone plz tell me whats going on? I really want to play the game!

I am using Windows Vista

There is a downloadable purchaseable version of Penumbra on Gamersgate.
