The (Least) Favorite aspects of your culture.
Rather than spamming the other thread with my complaints, I'll make a new thread.
What are the LEAST favorite parts of your culture? This is where you rant.
Here's mine:
I hate how everyone in America thinks we're the greatest at everything ever, despite evidence to the contrary. (We are beaten in Education, Healthcare, and our prison system.) It is impossible for America to have flaws for some people.
Everyone here is about as tolerant of other ideas as they are of the Plague. Me being an Academic in a rural Texan town driven by football.... you can imagine how well that goes. >.>
Rap and country music. I wish death on infant kittens when I hear any of that.
Fox News. Not to get too political, they lie. A lot. They are sleazy, dishonest, and control a large portion of the voter crowd.
Call Of Duty, and every derivative and knock off to date. Except maybe CoD4.

RE: The (Least) Favorite aspects of your culture.
We spawned this thing, among other people.
Luckily for us, America gladly took them.

RE: The (Least) Favorite aspects of your culture.
American children are spoiled and cocky. And they usually have Internet access. If you see a flame war going on, chances are it's an American that started it. They point fingers at European countries because they want someone else to blame, because they believe America is flawless.
And rap music. Don't get me started. To me, it's promoting things like prostitution, crime, drugs, and the such. I don't see why people like it so much.
Also the 2012 theory. So many gullible idiots believe it and there was actually a TV show about a Texan who had spent his life savings on an M2 Browning to prepare for the end of the world in December 2012. You heard me right; he saved up his money from childhood to buy a WWII era machine gun to prepare for something that won't happen. For instance, everyone thought in 1999 all of the computers would break down. Did they? No. Why would they?
Most of the overzealous bronies come from America, too. Not the sane ones, like on this forum. The ones on this forum are fine. I mean the teenagers who like the show because it's a fad and defend it with their life. I admit, I'm not a brony, but I can't count the flame wars started by American bronies on one hand. It's mostly on YouTube, due to the high concentration of gullible teenagers and therefore ponyfags, which is my term for bronies that are not sane. I'm not trying to start any flaming here, so if you're a brony, this probably doesn't apply to you.
So many dumb people in America. Oh, and @Oblivator, I don't listen to regular music (just vidya gam music) so I don't have to worry about the garbled sounds coming out of the throats of "singers" these days.
As of September 2nd, 2014, I've left the Frictional forums. Check my profile for more details.

I like how all of these problems are related to America.

Racism. Up until the 90s Icelanders clung desperately to the idea that we are "purebred" genetically incorrigible Aryan people even though the original settlers were Norwegian/Irish and, if you want to go way back, Ethiopian. Then around 2009-10 the Icelandic population treated the Polish immigrants that came here during the crash with a lot of disrespect (and still do, to some extent). It's pathetic.
