RE: Importing mesh into model editor problem

Disable interactive creation (in the create polygon menu) --> create a plane. Make it 4 meters by 4 meters. Import the doorway of your choice, create edges using the "edge loop" tool, move the vertices holding down "v" to make them snap to the doorway and finally delete any unwanted faces.

RE: Importing mesh into model editor problem

I'm just making some window pieces for my wall set, and I am trying to make curtains - I used the pencil curve tool to draw the curtains and used loft on it. I then converted them to poly's and assigned a new material, but the curtains don't show up in the editor. Is there a way to create a folded cloth effect that works in the game? I tried searching for an answer to this but I couldn't find one, and thought I'd post in here rather than start another thread!

Edit - Sorry about that, I have managed to get it to work, my .mat was wrong!
