help on Vista
ok, so i got Penumbra Overture installed on both my XP and Vista. problem is... the save points look different. on the XP it's like a big mass of orange glow. but on my Vista, it looks like a black alien-like can with orange holes. which one has the right graphics? and how do you fix it? (preferably i like the orange glow rather than the alien-look) does it have something to do with the graphics card? my XP has 256MB and my Vista has 64MB. both works and runs fine but i'm really irritated by the alien-looking save point. i'll put up a screenie soon when i go back online.

RE: help on Vista
I played it with Vista and I think, the saving point looks right on Vista. So you can't fix anything on your Vista, because that's the way it has to look [never thought about the save point looking like a black alien can o.O]... By the way, on every screenshot I saw till now, it looks like that "can".

EDIT: here's the screenshot of the alienated save point and the orange mass of glow save point, in my opinion, the orange glow looks better

RE: help on Vista
If I remember correctly, you can take screenshots in game by pressing F8.
Anyway, I have no idea where it saves them.
But what is the problem with these save points? It looks normal to me...

Hmm... Resolution isn't the best, that's true. But for me (what I've seen from these two pictures), it looks like that the first picture is normal.
I've never seen save point looking like that, what you call: 'orange glow'...
But did I understand it correctly that you wan't all of the save points look like that white one?

so it means the orange light can is the one with the wrong graphics? well, thats weird. looks much cooler though. just imagine the normal save point but without the alien-looking coating, just the orange light, that's how it looks like in my XP. :o wait, let me get a clearer picture of the orange glowing save point..
