Bad monster spawn

Is this part of the story or is it a bug? Check what happens when they open the door.

All I see is a simple hallucination grunt. Theres one in the library as well.

I think he means what happens at around 12:30.

Hmmm...I haven't played Amnesia for a long time so I don't really remember, but I do recall there being a Grunt in the prison area which spawns from you opening a door. Problem is, I remember you being only to open it from the outside.

Well, this shouldn't be able to happen I think. I have no idea how you got in there without he monster spawning, but it shouldve spawned the first time you open that door (assuming you have died before that monster encounter, I guess you shouldn't have been able to respawn in that prison cell, but somewhere before that.)
