RE: Bitterwood Peak - a modern story
Robosprog: Until I learn how to convert models, that's the best (read: the only) crashed helicopter model I'll get. And those are custom particle effects.
Define clever, though? I suppose I could add fancy sparks and stuff shooting off of it.
[EDIT: Aaaaaand finished. The flying sparks add a very nice touch. ]

Uhh yeah of course I know how he made it but it looks fucking great. Even beyond just the plane itself the rest of the map looks great too, especially considering outdoor environments usually look boring as fuck

I'm sorry I misunderstood you as well, Robosprog, I thought you were telling me to do a bunch of shit to change it around, haha.

RE: Bitterwood Peak - a modern story
Boy howdy, folks, are you in for a treat. Production has been crazy good since I got the new lappy, and I'm discovering all these fun things I can do to make the story even more in-depth and crazy. You guys better get your thinking caps on for this one! It's one part Deterioration in its puzzle solving aspect, and one part Amnesia for the running for your life aspect! Sprinkle in a custom-edited soundtrack (using edited snippets of the Dear Esther soundtrack that layer on top of each other quite well) and you have yourself one immersive-ass experience!
Stay tuned.

RE: Bitterwood Peak - a modern story
Actually, the 2012 version is not allowed, but Jessica Curry said that the 2008 soundtrack is available for anyone to use and can be downloaded on Moddb.
Although, when you consider that, now I'm afraid everyone will start using it and kind of ruin the point of me doing it this way.
