Help? I will be thankful :)

I need help!! My problem isn't covered yet. When I try to launch Amnesia, it5 tells me "this app is already running" even if i have every other application closed. i tried verifying the files and I'm sure i have the suitable graphics card. That's the only thing I don't get. Why won't it launch?

When it says that is because you have another steam application running.

Its not, trust me. I checked. I have tried a hundred different things and nothing.

Are you trying to access Amnesia through the Steam application (opening a Steam window and selecting it from your library); or something like a icon on your desktop?

Are you trying to access Amnesia through the Steam application (opening a Steam window and selecting it from your library); or something like a icon on your desktop?

i am opening from my steam library. But i have also tried opening amnesia, and closing steam before i launch the game in the amnesia start window

Restart Steam, usually fixes a similar problem for me.

And if that doesn't work, couldn't he select 'Quit Steam'?

i did that too. i verifyed the files. i even uninstalled the game and all files from my pc. i re-installed it this morning.
