Torch as a source of light?

Hello,

I'm just wondering, I have seen today mod Gary's Dark Secrets again on youtube and could it be possible to make that Torch Gary finds a model? I mean the player wouldnt use lantern but that torch and he would use like tinderboxes as fuel? Is it possible?

Thanks for any replies. Smile

RE: Torch as a source of light?

Having a torch as a lantern is possible.
Having tinderboxes as a light source is not, unless you make it into "oil" which is the main type of fuel in amnesia.

If you want the torch to be active/inactive when pressing F it will take some serious modelling, before accomplishing it.

Trying is the first step to success.

Indeed.
But that's only if you want it to be used like you use the lantern.

I've seen custom stories where the torch is just an item you pick up. It never runs out (Unless it is scripted to).

That's also an option.

Trying is the first step to success.

Yeah, I thought about that but Im not sure. I'll probably use the default lantern and in some parts the torch as item.
