To be fair about 95% of custom stories now are carbon copies of each other in almost every aspect, including level design and storyline, so I can see where he's coming from.

I haven't played any in several months because I started realizing, as stated before, how insanely homogeneous so many of them are. You can only sit through so many "you wake up in a dungeon not knowing where you are/your wife and or kids are captured or dead" stories paired with levels/scares/puzzles that have almost identical design and the with the exception of a few details before you start to get bored, and honestly having browsed through Moddb once or twice a week for a while I can't really say it looks like a whole lot has changed. Oh well.

Yes, but those are just 3 mods out of something like 50-75 mods that were probably posted in the last month or so. Hence 95%.

Well if you're just talking about the modding community in general that includes Moddb, FG were even trying to push for people using Moddb instead of the forums for sharing mods a while ago too
