Steam for Linux love
I just wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation for Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and its availability on Steam for Linux.
The game is very beautiful and immersive. I was amazed at how nothing technical takes away from the experience. Usually, a lot of time is spent in the options menus in games. But with Amnesia, there was very little of this. Even the time I did spend in the menus still felt 'a part of the game'. Really appreciate this.
With a good deal of third party games having issues of some sort (some not even starting), I'm amazed that I've encountered not one single issue running Amnesia. Especially being on Linux.
I was so impressed with this game that I bought the entire Penumbra Collector Pack! I would definitely purchase more games from Frictional in the future.
Please accept my thanks, and I encourage you to continue to support Steam for Linux with any existing and future releases.
Thank you!

RE: Steam for Linux love
Well, thank Urkle for porting Amnesia to Linux (well actually, Urkle ports Amnesia to Mac OSX and Linux. jens called him, "Port Guru." ![Smile Smile](https://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif) ), and Steam for supporting it.

RE: Steam for Linux love
By the way, the game was on the main page of steam during the Steam-Linux celebration. Seeing more and more new people here (including myself) lately, I assume there are still new players every day

RE: Steam for Linux love
Amnesia still is on the main Steam store page for Linux users.
Btw. I also want to thanks for Linux support. Especially to Urkle. Really great optimization, stability etc.. After 1.5 year of playing, I never had had any issues with the game itself (only LevelEditor).

RE: Steam for Linux love
Urkle must be with Out of Order Games; the group responsible for the Linux and Mac ports of Amnesia.
Thank you, Urkle, and Out of Order, for your great work!
