Realistic windows

Hello again!

How do I make it so that the light rays (billboards) do not disappear if the player looks straight at the window or gets close to them?

Thanks

Ps. I would post photos, but steam is being fussy and not letting me take any ingame!

RE: Realistic windows

what do you mean exactly? there are fixed axis billboard, with dont react to the players movement and there are axis billboards. because a billboart just is a 2D texture it you will never see something when looking at them from the perfect side. you could mess around in the material editor and change the mesh from cube to cylinder or something.

P.S.: for making screenshots window the game (its way more flexible too) and use hardcopy (free software)

When you are looking for someone, to do the scripting for your Custom Story, ask me!

This sort of thing. You can see the light rays from afar, however getting close ruins it :/

In a Billboard, there is a setting called "Halo" activate that. The green box that comes up depicts where the billboard will begin to fade both when touching the edges of the screen and when the player clips into this green box. You are able to adjust the size of the halo as well.
