RE: Multiplayer?
The greatest enjoyment of course, is when I get banned from a server because I actually played right. They thought I cheated.

RE: Multiplayer?
But one thing that should have been cool is if you play two persons in the singleplayer maps, maybe not as creepy as going around for yourself but it would work quiet well

I think that this is better choice than multiplayer in this game.

I agree. And if you want to multiplay, get skype or something and play the game telling each other tips. But I must warn you that it'll ruin the feel and idea of the game (to be scary as hell). Penumbra just doesn't feel right with multiplayer.
By some strange twist of fate people around you die violently.
You always see the worst way a person can die.

RE: Multiplayer?
It could be done with a reworked storyline for multiplayer...
One player could be trapped somewhere in the mine, and the other one some distance away, and both of them can access different areas, and can communicate by different means, like occasional radio stations or knocking codes on walls (as described in the emergency manual).
And both players have to reach some kind of goal, and need each other's help to get there (like powering up a generator, unlocking certain doors, activating some mechanisms, things like that).
It could work, but I'm not sure if it would be worth the trouble of rewriting the storyline. Probably not.

RE: MP COOP mode for penumbra
Um, no? The physics in Penumbra are way too precise for transfering over the net; and reducing them would make penumbra's physics wacky.
That's excluding the other 10 reasons such as philip's model, how he would handle objects and so on.
Please -REP me.
Honestly, please do. I want to see how low I can go!!
Ignore that error message too. Just ignore it and keep going to give me -rep.
