Yeah, there's a release date on the ModDB page that says 31th of July. But this is fake and even Jens said to don't trust ModDB.

It does look outdated. Does Left 4 Dead 2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive look like modern gem games? Even Portal 2 doesn't looked a bit outdated when it came out.

Valve are working on HL3 and L4D3, and thus probably on their engine.
