RE: Xbox one
This is one ugly design. I understand they can't create anything fans made, but this is really bad..

RE: Xbox one
Wait for the modding community to get a hold it.
Who want's to bet how long after it comes out that someone makes a Steampunk case for it?

It's more immersive to have console that looks like a wrestling belt. Man, how logic this is!!!
Oh, wait...
Still hasn't gotten over the loss of wubwub...

RE: Xbox one
I actually like its design. It's simplistic, and it's a BOX (XBOX). What Mine Turtle posted earilier is not only too flashy in my opinion, it's probably too costly to mass produce a design like that. It'd be hard to fit it in proper locations. Mine Turtle's example is just awkward...
Things I don't like so far from what I've heard/read:
1) The pay to use old games crap... Gotta love the greedy companies getting into the game industry.
2) The NAME. When I hear Xbox One, I think of the first, original Xbox. Just... why?
3) What is the purpose of "Television" on your xbox? That's such a waste of time, which they could've spent elsewhere on the console.
4) Still has subscription-based online play. $60 for a year and such. I think Microsoft is the only one doing this...
Things I DO like:
1) Improved Kinect, even though no one really uses it.
2) The design. Very sleek, and can fit most rooms, design-wise. Reminds me a lot of my laptop.
3) Better xbox really.
I've never really been a fan of Playstation because its controllers are the most uncomfortable ones I've ever used. I liked some of its games, but I like more of Xbox's. I'm mostly a PC person, but I'd take Xbox over a Playstation any day =\

RE: Xbox one
The paying to play old games I'm fine with, this is why.
Developers will be able to choose wether they want their customers to be able to purchase the game used or not, keep that in mind.
Also, when buying a used game the developer gains NOTHING from it, it's a straight out rip-off, if you want to play a game, support the developer.

RE: Xbox one
Why I don't see anything like this with movies, books or music? I can rent these from public library without any charge and no one bitches about supporting somebody. Why is it only with games?
